May

On May 19th, 2010, I flew to Balik Papan – Indonesia for a work trip. The first thing I’ve always remind myself to bring it everywhere I go now is my camera. The first plan once I’m inside the plane is to take a shot of the skies I might see. The first person I wanted to dedicate the shot is my sis, Claudia..because she always love pictures and camera, and I felt that she could feel my feelings too about the picture.

This might sounds so silly and so out-of-date for others who have always fly with plane, but not for me. Last flight wasn’t my first flight, I’ve been through many flights since I was younger but this was my first flight for a work trip alone. I felt so free..so free..because I was on my own that day. I could take a pictures as many as I want to, through the window of my flight seat, without even care what others might think of me.

I was amazed..I am always amazed by the skies and never got bored of it everytime I fly with plane..I’m always a villager up in the sky, because it will always feels like the first time I saw clouds right next to me..

On that flight, I met with a great middle-age couple who could understand my sillyness watching those skies like I never saw it before. So it made me even more comfortable playing with my camera hehe..

These are the skies that caught my eyes..

Mirror of a Sun..That is how I saw this picture. I was amazed by its sunlight on the ocean. It spreads all over the ocean’s surface, formed a beautiful vertical yellow lights..so beautiful for me ’till it wet my eyes that moment. And if you realize, you could also see the horizon’s line that proves this planet is round.

The second picture I named it with “Cloudy Turbulence“. Before I took the shot, I remember the news on TV saying that it would be a cloudy and windy weather between May 18 to 20, 2010 at some cities in Indonesia, including Kalimantan. I was question myself “Does the dark clouds always colored like this on the sky from the earth I stand ?” .. “Are they angry to us human when they’re like this ?”. So I took the picture while praying..”Please don’t mad at us right now, skies.. Not while we’re flying right through you and breaking your cloudy bones. Let us passed this flight and arrived savely and complete..”

I know this might seems so empty and just like an ordinary picture for you. But this one for me is the best shot I took on this work trip. Why ? Because, it calms me down everytime I see it. It clear my minds looking at its white smokey clouds. And the blue skies above it with the natural gradations..No one can beat that beautifulness for me. Subhanallah..it’s a very peacefull skies for me… my “Cotton Candy”

Sony Ericsson K810iIt’s not an SLR, not a pocket camera, it’s a cell phone camera! It’s Sony Ericsson K810i. I have this cell phone since February 2009, after a long-long researches and comparations. I compared it with K800i and K850i, came into this conclusion that K810i is the best for the camera and the fitures.

Few things I remember the most why I chosed K810i was for the camera and the infrared + bluetooth availability. It has the best shot, the best quality, the best result for a cell phone camera compared to both K800i and K850i.

Here is some overview about the camera that I got from the official website of Sony Ericsson :

The world is full of pictures. The compact K810i Cyber-shot™ phone has all you need to catch the moment – and make it look as special as it was.

K810i has both Infrared and Bluetooth connectivity

I took many candid shots using my K810i and some of them turns out surprisingly good, really pleased me. Around last January or February, I took one shot of a candle light on my desk, when it was black out in the house. I took couple of shots of the same candle and finally, I got one best shot. So I will share it with you Readers, my K810i Candle light shot …

p.s : But please lol do not compare it with an SLR or pocket camera, compare it with other cell phone camera if you want to lol.
